In the summer of 2019, the first “Workshop on Synthetic Organic Chemistry for Young Investigators, Sponsored by Organic Syntheses, Inc.”
was held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The design of the format for these annual workshops was inspired by the NSF WOSNPC
(“Workshops on Organic Synthesis and Natural Products Chemistry”) which were held from 1970 to 2012.
Attendance is by invitation only and participants are selected by three organizers who are current
and former members of the Editorial Board of Organic Syntheses.
